WWE Raw was in the United Kingdom tonight, and the fans got their money’s worth. Let’s take a look at everything that happened on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw.

WWE RAW 4-18-16 Highlights
Bullet Club reincarnation?

One of the most interesting moments of the night of WWE RAW saw AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Carl Anderson, all former members of the Bullet Club, a supremely popular and successful stable most known for their time in New Japan Pro Wrestling collide for the 1st time. After Gallows and Anderson made their WWE debut last week, speculation ran wild about whether or not the three would reunite in the WWE. Well, it definitely looks like that is a real possibility after Gallows and Anderson attacked Styles’ opponent at Payback, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. There’s no telling if anything will result from this “random” attack on Reigns Monday night, but you have to wonder if the WWE will take advantage of the immense popularity that this group has had all over the world. Wouldn’t it be best for business if they did?

Shane O’Mac still in control
For the third week in a row, Shane McMahon was in charge of Raw (odd how that works even though he lost at WrestleMania with control of Raw on the line, but I digress). It’s been nice getting a break from the Authority and having new superstars debut, along with plenty of fresh matches. We know that the Authority isn’t gone for good, but while they are gone, let’s all enjoy a more exciting product.

Lowlights
Get a new slogan, Roman
For the third week in a row, Roman Reigns started off his in ring soliloquy by saying: “I’m not a good guy, I’m not a bad guy, I’m just THE guy.” It was great the first time around, okay the second time, but after a third time, I think it’s time we bury this particular catch phrase. Look, it’s great that the WWE is no longer trying to force Reigns down the WWE Universe’s throat as the next John Cena, but having him repeat the same phrase every week when people already don’t like him isn’t the best way to go about things either. If you at least want fans to tolerate him, come up with something more original….please. Unless, they plan on turning him full heel, because the reactions that he’s getting everywhere across the world are better (or worse) than any bad guy on the roster right now.

Miz Miz Miz
Bringing back the Miz’s wife Maryse was supposed to add an extra level of excitement to the Miz’s character, but I’m still not into it. The monologues, Miz TV….adding a beautiful and charismatic woman doesn’t make it all any more interesting. But I’m probably in the minority when it comes to this feeling.

Other things
Bret Hart to appear at WWE Payback
That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the Excellence of Execution Bret Hart will be at WWE Payback in two weeks, as he’ll be in Natalya’s corner when she faces Charlotte for the Women’s Title. Bret has been battling cancer for several months, but all signs point to him doing well. Adding Bret to the mix should be plenty interesting, not only because we’ll get to see the Hall of Famer and how he’s doing health wise, but also taking into account the real life issues that Bret and Ric Flair have had in the past and how those issues could play out between the two women in the lead up to the match. Thankfully though, Bret and Ric are now on much better terms than the once were.

Did Kevin Owens compare himself to Stone Cold?
At the beginning of Raw, Kevin Owens interrupted a conversation between Shane McMahon and Dean Ambrose on the “Ambrose Asylum.” While airing his grievances, Owens said that Shane was another McMahon mad with power who had a personal vendetta against this generation’s number one superstar. So, could Shane/Owens be a 2016 version of Vince/Stone Cold? Now it’s way too early for that kind of comparison but Owens definitely has the potential to be one of the top, if not THE top guy in the company. So speak it into existence, KO, we support it.

Cesaro channels his inner Rowdy Roddy Piper
“I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I’m all out of bubble gum.” Perfect.

Match of the night
Dean Ambrose vs. Kevin Owens
Two of the better young talents on the roster, Ambrose and Owens know how to put on a good match regardless of who they’re facing. But when they’re together, you can get some real magic as we did on tonight’s episode of Raw.

What to look for next week
With Payback less than two weeks away, next week will be the final Raw before the first pay per view following WrestleMania. The card is already very solid, so let’s see what other matches will be added and how things take their final shape.
