Bobby RoodeFor those curious the reason why we haven’t seen Bobby Roode on Impact Wrestling the past two weeks is because of a contract dispute.

Turns out Bobby Roode’s contract with TNA Wrestling had expired weeks ago and no one from TNA upper management realized it until he brought it to their attention. ProWrestling.net first reported last night that Roode’s contract expired a few weeks ago. According to a report from ProWrestling.net, TNA Talent Relations head Bruce Prichard is the one responsible for allowing the contract to expire which forced Bobby Roode to question his status with the company.

Roode wasn’t present at Saturday’s Lockdown fan interaction. An agreement has been reached between all parties involved and Bobby Roode will be working tonight’s Lockdown pay-per-view. He’ll be teaming up with Austin Aries to defend their TNA Tag Team titles against Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez, Daniels & Kazarian in a triple threat tag match.

Again an agreement has been reached and Bobby Roode will be working Lockdown tonight. Whether he has signed a new deal with company isn’t 100% known at this time. We’ll continue to follow this and provide new information as it becomes available.
