Dana WhiteTurns out back in 2012 when we heard rumblings of WWE Superstar turned football player, turned MMA fighter Brock Lesnar came very close to returning to the UFC.

This is according to UFC President Dana White as he revealed that Brock LEsnar would’ve returned the same year for a match against FedorĀ  Emelianenko that would have likely taken place at Cowboys Stadium in Texas.

Dana White revealed this during last night’s UFC on Fox post-fight press conference,

Dana White: “Remember when I met with Lesnar and said it didn’t go well? It actually went well. It went well, and Brock wanted to fight Fedor. Then (Fedor’s) dad died, and he was done… After his dad died and he said he was done or whatever, Brock said, ‘I’m done, too.'”

With regards to the possibility of Brock Lesnar coming back to the UFC, Dana White believes that he won’t be coming back.

Dana White: “From what I understand, he is absolutely, positive made the decision not to fight ever again… he’s going to do his stint in the WWE and then go away,” White said. “He’s got a big farm up in Canada. He loves to farm and he loves to be with his family out in the middle of nowhere.”

Overall Analysis: UFC and MMA fans may not like the fact that Brock Lesnar didn’t return to the UFC but with the current schedule & pay he has in the WWE, this was simply too good of an offer Lesnar couldn’t refuse.
