shine championshipSHINE Women’s wrestling returns Friday July 12th from Ybor City, Florida where the SHINE championship tournament will conclude as the company will crown it’s 1st champion.

Speaking of the SHINE championship, the company revealed the new SHINE championship belt today (pictured above).

It was also announced today that Valkyrie and Made in Sin member Taylor Made will no longer be in the tournament. Reasons haven’t been given explaining her removal but with this move on top of Allysin Kay ( also a member of Valkyrie and Made in Sin), the odds of a Valkyrie member becoming champion has decreased greatly.

There is good news however, SHINE revealed Lufisto would take Taylor Made’s place in the tournament. Lufisto last appeared for SHINE Wrestling at SHINE 7 where she lost to Ivelisse Velez. Lufisto joins Su Yung, Nikki Roxx and Mercedes Martinez in the Bracket A fatal four-way match. Winner advances to face Rain in the 1st semi final round.
