TNA Impact is reporting that  this week’s TNA Impact ratings for the Thursday, May 23 2013 edition of IMPACT WRESTLING drew a 1.07 rating. The rating is a 28 percent increase from last week’s disappointing year-low 0.84 rating.

This week’s TNA Impact ratings was the highest since April 4th which drew a 1.11 rating. This week’s rating also ends the six-week streak of IMPACT scoring below a 1.0.

On Thursday Impact averaged 1.379 million viewers, up 30 percent from a year-low average of 1.054 million viewers last week. It was also the most viewers since April 4th.

On cable TV Thursday night, Impact ranked #31 in overall viewers, #15 in males 18-34, and #18 in males 18-49.

Impact was boosted by a two-tenths increase in males 18-34 and one-tenth in m18-49. But, teen males were flat with last week.

One year ago this week, Impact scored a nearly identical 1.08 rating.

Overall Analysis of TNA IMPACT Ratings: Interesting that the ratings were up this week. Perhaps this was largely in part of the fact that this week marked the final time that IMPACT WRESTLING would be in its 8-11 time-slot. Fans who hadn’t tuned in in recent weeks probably came back to see what all they’ve missed and to see the build towards Slammiversary. With so much confidence that the 9-11 time-slot next week is the way for IMPACT to stay in the 1.0 range, it should be interesting to see how this 1st edition of IMPACT fares against Miami Heat/Pacers which airs 30 minutes prior.
