Rene Young is sharing fan reactions when the little bull from Los Matadores tries to flirt on her. Winners of the power couple is none other than Edge & Lita with 42% of the votes! At 30% is Triple H & Stephanie McMahon.

It’s now time for the actual WWE Battleground pay-per-view!

Match 1: Alberto Del Rio (c) DEF. Rob Van Dam (with Ricardo Rodriguez) in a Battleground Hardcore match for the World Heavyweight Championship via cross armbreaker submission

Rating: 4/5

In a backstage segment we see Real Americans with Zeb Colter insulting the Buffalo, NY fans while cutting a promo on Santino & Great Khali.

Match 2: Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro DEF. Santino & Great Khali

Match Rating: 3/5 There was a nice spot at the end where Cesaro actually did the Cesaro Swing on Great Khali followed by a pin-fall. Awesome finish!

Match 3: Curtis Axel (with Paul Heyman) (c) DEF. R-Truth for the WWE Intercontinental Championship

Match Rating: 3 / 5

 

Match 4: AJ Lee (c) DEF. Brie Bella for the WWE Divas Championship

Match Rating: 3/5

Brie seemed to have this match down until the final seconds of the match. Tamina would grab Nikki Bella and proceed to choke her out via headlock which forced Brie to lose concentration in the ring. AJ came from behind for a schoolboy pin for the retain.

Backstage segment at WWE Battleground we see Rene Young getting reactions from the Rhodes family as they seem confident in tonight’s match.

Match 5: Goldust and Cody Rhodes (with Dusty Rhodes) DEF. The Shield (Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins) (with Dean Ambrose) Tag team match

As results of the win Goldust and Cody will be reinstated by WWE. Had The Shield won, Dusty would have lost his job as an NXT trainer and the Rhodes family will be banned from WWE.

Justin Gabriel, Zack Ryder, Fit Finley and other WWE Superstars came out to celebrate the Rhodes victory.

The WWE Battleground show panel from earlier offers reactions to what they’ve seen tonight. Brad Maddox is on the phone with Stephanie McMahon & Triple H as they have left the arena for the night. Maddox sees Vicki Guerrero and begs her for help as she laughs in his face.

 

Match 6: Brya Wyatt DEF. Kofi Kingston via pin-fall

Match 7: CM Punk DEF. Ryback (with Paul Heyman) via low blow & low blow

Match Rating: 3/5

 

Match 8: Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton Singles match for the vacant WWE Championship=No Contest

Big Show comes down to knock out the referee, followed by Daniel Bryan. Maddox tried to have Scott Armstrong come out and count for Orton as Big Show knocked him out as well! Randy Orton is screaming at Big Show as the giant gets in the ring to knock him out as well! WWE Battleground ends with Big Show starring down the RAW GM.
