Remember ECW Original & former 2x WWF Women’s Champion Jazz (real name Carlene Denise Moore-Begnaud)? We last saw her in WWE 2006-2007. Off and on she’s been wrestling in the independent circuit. This Saturday she’ll be going against Awesome Kong (real name Kia Stevens) for the Florida Underground Wrestling promotion in St. Petersburg, Florida. This coming Friday SHINE 5 will have a internet pay-per-view where Jazz will team up with Awesome Kong to take on Mercedes Martinez & Rain. Should be noted that this will be Awesome Kong’s first wrestling event since last seen in WWE during the 2012 Royal Rumble where she became the 2nd female participant in the event. The first female wrestler to have participated in the rumble was no other than The 9th Wonder of the World Chyna. Kong who wrestled in WWE from 2010-2012 left in May 2011 for paternity leave as the baby was due in December. Unfortunately the child didn’t make it as it was stillborn. Stevens moved forward in starting a foundation for women who have experienced the loss of an unborn child.
